BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - One man is dead in a suspicious death case, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
At around 6:15 a.m., the KCSO says metro patrol deputies responded to a call of a man lying unconscious and bleeding from his face and torso in a field in the 200 block of Adams Street.
The KCSO says the man, described as Hispanic and in his 30's, was pronounced dead at the scene. Sheriff's homicide detectives were called to conduct an investigation, which is ongoing at this time.
The identity of the man is currently unknown and the cause of death has not been determined.
